Another ship to visit nearby is HM Frigate Unicorn - a 46-gun wooden warship.

Dundee’s pedestrianized shopping street offers plenty of places for you to spend your money. Have a lookout for the Desperate Dan Statue while you’re there (he’s a famous Scottish comic book character if you didn’t know already).

Worthwhile day-trips from Dundee include St Andrews, the home of Golf (just 30 minutes away). Whiskey fans will enjoy a trip to The Famous Grouse Experience at Crieff while history-buffs should head to Scone Palace near Perth, where Scottish Kings were crowned in days gone past.
